Dear Families,
Children need healthy meals to learn. Cambridge School District #227 offers healthy meals every school day. Meal costs are:
Breakfast:
$2.25 – Cambridge Elementary School
$2.50 – Cambridge Jr./Sr. High School
$0.30 – Reduced meal price
Lunch:
$2.75 – Cambridge Elementary School
$3.00 – Cambridge Jr./Sr. High School
$0.40 – Reduced meal price
Your children may qualify for free or reduced-price meals if your household income falls within the limits below.
Families may qualify for free or reduced-priced meals by:
Students are directly certified (SNAP, TANF, income-eligible Medicaid, Foster) in coordination with the State of Illinois. Students who are directly certified will receive notification of their meal status directly from our office. If you receive a letter, there is NO NEED to complete an income-based application.
Families can complete an income-based household eligibility application.

If you are unable to download and print an application, please contact the District Office at 309-937-2144 to have an application mailed to your home.
Only complete one application per family. The information you give will be used to determine or prove your child's eligibility for free or reduced-priced meals. This information may also be used for other state or federally-funded school benefits.
