On Friday, December 13th our 5th graders traveled to BizTown in Moline. BizTown is simulated town that creates a learning experience for students to operate banks, manage restaurants, run businesses, and vote. Be sure to take a look at the trees on the boulevard during the holiday season. Students from elementary, JH, and HS volunteered to help decorate the trees for the Village of Cambridge. Tonight would be a great night to take a look at the Christmas on the Square and enjoy many of the events they have planned.
While you're at Christmas on the Square tonight, be sure to stop by and check out the beautifully decorated Christmas trees created by the students of District 227. They did an amazing job!
We are having a great time at Shop with a Cop! Thanks to the Henry County Sheriff's Department and our donors for providing this unique experience!
